Introducing: The Patek Philippe Cubitus Collection

The First New Collection from Patek Philippe Since 1997

It’s been quite a while since Patek Philippe launched a completely new line of timepieces. Not since the 1997 release of the Aquanaut line has the high-horology giant unveiled a new collection. That is until today, with the release of the all-new Cubitus.

Customers have expected a new line from Patek since 2023, when CEO Theirry Stern revealed that a brand new line of Nautilus-adjacent sport watches should hit the market by 2024. The conversation about the new model reached a peak less than a week ago when a magazine advertisement for the “Cubitus” was leaked. Now, after today’s Patek Philippe’s private launch event in Munich, the circulating rumors were proved true.

The Cubitus will be coming in three variants: two time-and-date-only versions in steel and two-tone and a more-complicated version in platinum. Details about all three are shared below.

Why Should You Care?

It’s no secret that Patek Philippe’s stainless steel sports watches are highly desirable. This, paired with the notoriously low availability of Nautilus and Aquanaut models at AD’s, mean that the waitlists for these models are incredibly long.

The Cubitus, a spiritual successor to these two models, should be no different. We expect the Cubitus Collection to be an absolute hit on the secondary market.
